The Bernia Walk
Details: Moderate - 11 km - 4 1/2 hours
Standing alone ashore the town of Calpe this broad ridge dominates the Northern side of the Bernia. The route takes us along the north side of the Bernia. You then scramble through the 'Forat' a natural tunnel of about 30m.
The Forat brings you onto the Southern side and truly the most stunning views from Calpe rock to Alicante and on a clear day you can catch the island of Ibiza on the horizon.
From here we make our way along under the ridge of the Bernia and arrive at the Bernia Fort, a large ruin built and destroyed during the 17th Centaury. A super walk that offers something different
